How do I become a mentor?
If you are an outgoing, dedicated and helpful student leader, you would be a great asset to the College of Communications Peer Mentors Program! Peer Mentor applications are sent out at the beginning of every spring semester. Make sure to check back in late-January or early-February for applications!
If selected, our bi-weekly meetings begin in the spring semester, where mentors are trained and prepared to help their mentees, while creating events to help current College of Communication students. The build of what we do occurs in the fall. In the fall, mentors will contact and meet their mentees, continue to attend the bi-weekly meetings and help out with the various Mentors and College of Communication events.
It is a great program to be involved in, and it is an extremely rewarding and fun experience to help out new University Park students!
